Join your AMDP friends in NYC

Last year, we frolicked in Frankfurt. The year before, we blew up Barcelona. And now, we're taking on the Big Apple for our annual AMDP Global Gathering!

April 12 - 14, 2026

Special thank-you to our sponsors

This event would not be possible without support from our sponsors!

Here's the plan...

This event has been organized by the AMDP Alumni Association, and is scheduled to take place directly following the Harvard Real Estate Symposium, which happens in in Boston on April 11th, 2026. We encourage you to attend the Symposium, then take a short train ride to join your AMDP friends in New York April 12-14.

Our agenda is still a work-in-progress, but we have secured many exciting programs so far!

Sunday, April 12th - Welcome

Arrive to New York City, and check in to our official event hotel: The Lotte New York Palace.

Originally a private Gilded Age mansion, and now a towering modern landmark, the Lotte New York Palace encapsulates more than a century of elegance, architectural heritage, and evolving luxury. And the best part? We've negotiated 40% off cathedral view rooms! (Click here to reserve.)

After you've checked in and rested up, join us for our welcome reception at the original Smith & Wollensky, and enjoy plenty of food and libations.

Monday, April 13th - Seaport District

In 2012, Hurricane Sandy decimated Manhattan's iconic Seaport District. The Howard Hughes Corporation stepped in to redevelop the landmarked neighborhood.

We'll spend our first full day touring neighborhood and the modern Pier 17, hearing from the developers, and dining with their acclaimed hospitality partner, Jean-Georges

We've also organized a sunset cruise of New York Harbor, sailing past the Statue of Liberty. We'll close out the evening with a private dinner on the water with sweeping views of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Tuesday, April 14th - Midtown Manhattan

We'll spend our second full day in the heart of Manhattan's Midtown neighborhood, where Class 17's Barbaros Karaahmet will host us for a delightful breakfast and engaging presentations at Herrick, New York's most esteemed real estate law firm.

In the afternoon, we will visit One Vanderbilt, a sculpted glass tower rising over Grand Central Terminal, and hear from the executive team at SL Green, the property's developers. We will also tour One Vanderbilt's stunning observation deck attraction, SUMMIT.

We'll finish the day with a closing party at The Dawson, where we'll eat too much, drink too much, and have too much fun.
